My name is Fan Xiao, you may call me Frank.
I am currently registered as a Registered Massage Therapist, a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner & Acupuncturist, as well as a Registered Nurse.
In 2000, I imigrated with my parents from China, mainland to Canada. I lived in different cities in Ontario since.
I graduated from McMaster University, School of Nursing in 2008. After that, I took some courses for Traditional Chinese Medicine (also known as TCM) and Massage Therapy in private colleges, for my own interest.
The reason I took TCM is that I want to explore my culture better, as well as something related to my study — health care.
This college I chose had many great professors, some of them taught master students and doctorate students back in China. They had lead me into the world of TCM.
From the training, I realized the theories behind TCM is so much different from modern medicine, and so important to keep ourselves healthy.
In mid March 2014, I opened my own clinic in Waterloo, ON, to help many more people who needs proper and effective treatment. I am willing to help anyone who comes to me for help.

I really want to share some of the great wisdom over this 2000 years of experience from our ancestors, that had been passed down to us.
This is not a easy task, as there is a huge history gap between modern Chinese and ancient Chinese, a huge language gap between Chinese and English, a huge culture gap between eastern culture and western culture, and a huge knowledge gap between Traditional Chinese Philosophy and western scientific theories. I am not able to be sure how much I will be able to overcome these gaps, but I surely will do my best to help people understand how to prevent illness, and be healthy.
Nothing is better than having a healthy and happy life, is there?
